This document details how to activate Schema App's Shopify app embed block in your Shopify store's Theme.

Note: You need to have a Theme installed on your store to add the App Embed Block.

Schema App deploys Schema Markup to your Shopify store resources using Metafields, which are embedded in your page using an App Embed Block.

By default, App Embed Blocks are not activated when an app is installed in a Shopify store. Therefore you will need to activate the App Embed Block in the Theme editor to deploy your Schema Markup.

Here are two ways you can activate the App Embed Block.

Steps to activate the App Embed Block from the app

1. From your store's admin dashboard in Shopify, navigate to Apps > Schema App Total Markup.

2. Click 'Preview in Theme' to be linked directly to your Theme editor.

3. This will automatically activate the app embed. 

4. Click Save to save the edits to your theme.

5. Once the changes to your Theme have been saved, your markup will be deployed.

Steps to activate the App Embed Block from Themes

1. From your store's admin dashboard in Shopify, navigate to Online Store > Themes.

2. Select the Theme you want to edit, then click Customize.

3. In the Theme editor, click the 'App embeds' icon.

4. To activate Schema App's app embed block, select it from the list, and click on the toggle to activate it.

5. Click Save to save the edits to your theme.

6. Once the changes to your Theme have been saved, your markup will be deployed.
