How do I know if Schema App's Shopify App is working?

To deploy your automated markup, you first need to activate Schema App's App Embed Block. Please activate the App Embed Block before trying to verify deployment using the instructions below. Instructions to activate the App Embed Block can be found here: How To: Activate Schema App's Shopify App Embed Block in your store's Theme

You can verify whether the Schema App Total Schema Markup app for Shopify is deploying automated markup to your website by following these steps:

1. Go to your store, and copy the URL of one of your Product pages. For this example we'll use a URL from our test store: https://la-kings.myshopify.com/products/short-sleeve-kings-t-shirt
2. Go to Google's Rich Results test. This is the testing tool that tells us whether your Schema Markup is eligible for rich results
3. Paste your URL into the tool, and click "Test URL".
4. In the results, you'll want to find valid instances of Product snippets and Merchant listings. If your products have reviews from one of our supported Shopify Review Apps, you'll also see Review snippets:
   
5. Click on the "Product snippets". You may see two instances of Product snippet markup. Click on each Product snippet instance until you find one with an "id" value. This is the markup created by Schema App.
   An example of the markup we create can be seen here. It is LONG! That's because it uses all the information you've provided about your Product and embeds it into your Schema Markup.
6. You can also click on "VIEW TESTED PAGE" to see the HTML of the rendered page contents.
   
7. In the HTML, search for "schema-app-total-schema-markup". The block of Schema Markup that follows this insert tag is being generated by Schema App. If you don't see this insert tag, the markup from Schema App is not being generated.
