Introduction
This article describes how to use Bulk Edit Actions feature in Data Items List. Actions that can be achieved includes the Bulk Move, Bulk Delete, and Bulk URI Change.
Bulk Move
Bulk Move function allows you to move multiple data items at once between projects.
Steps
1. Click Data Items in Schema App
2. Select the Data Items that needs to be moved to other projects.(Maximum of 50 Data Items)
3. Click the 'Bulk Actions' button in the top right corner of the table header
4. Click the 'Move Project' button in the dropdown, and available project lists will be displayed
5. Select the project
6. Confirm the Move action
7. Data Items will be moved to the project selected
Bulk Delete
Bulk Delete function allows you to remove multiple data items in one click.
Steps
1. Click Data Items in Schema App
2. Select the Data Items that needs to be moved to other projects.(Maximum of 50 Data Items)
3. Click the 'Bulk Actions' button in the top right corner of the table header
4. Click the 'Delete' button in the dropdown
5. Confirm the Delete Action
6. Data Items will be deleted
** Deleted Items cannot be recovered
Bulk URI Change
Bulk URI Change function allows you to change multiple data items URI at once.
Steps
1. Click Data Items in Schema App
2. Select the Data Items that needs to be moved to other projects.(Maximum of 50 Data Items)
3. Click the 'Bulk Actions' button in the top right corner of the table header
4. Click the 'Change URI' button in the dropdown
5. In Pattern text box, type the pattern to be changed from selected URIs
6. In the Replace text box, type the pattern you wish to change to
7. Click 'Preview Change' to review the new URIs that includes the new pattern.
8. Click 'Rename Resources' to proceed with the URI change.
9. Confirm the URI pattern change by clicking 'Change'
URIs will be updated with new pattern
