How To "Use Wikipedia"

In some instances it is helpful to use Wikipedia and Wikidata to further clarify what your Schema markup is about. In Schema App you have the option to “Search Wiki” within the different property fields. 

This is how:

1. Enter what you’re searching for

2. Click “Search Wiki”

3. Select the relevant instance. 

If you can’t find what you were looking for you can also simply paste the wiki URL into that field and click done. 

We recommend using wiki for the following situations:

1. SameAs

2. Place - Country fields

3. Additional Type

In the Form Builder, select "Use Wikipedia" from the drop down menu beside the property you're working on. Then search for a relevant article. Select the right one and click submit.
