How To Create a Multi-type Data Item Using the Editor

Modified on Wed, 1 May at 10:33 AM

This support document explains the process for creating a multi-type data item using the Schema App Editor. Multi-typing is a strategy you can use when an entity is described by more than one Schema.org type. For example, a Book that is being sold on a website can be accurately described as a Book and a Product. A doctor can be accurate described as a Physician and a Person. Benefits to multi-typing include access to a broader range of properties, and more accurate description of an entity. Be sure that the multi-types you select are accurate!
