Now, navigate to the Footer Scripts in your store. Go to Storefront>Footer Scripts.

Paste the JavaScript in the box for the Footer box. If you already have something in this, just paste it below it.

Now you are done! Within the hour, the schema markup will be generated and your products, product options, reviews and blogs will be automatically optimized!

Custom Schema Markup

Now that you have setup the automatic schema markup, you have the option of adding schema markup to additional pages using the Schema App Tool.

When you signed up, you should have received an email that said, Welcome to Schema App. This email contains your login information to the Schema App Pro Tools.

Schema App Pro tools are a software as a service where you can easily create schema markup for your store homepage, about page, contact page, services and more.

Step 1: Setup an Onboarding Call

Setup an onboarding call with our Customer Success Team here.  If you rather watch an onboarding call virtuall, watch it out here. During the onboarding call we show you around the tools, and help you optimize your first page – the homepage.

Step 2: How to create Schema Markup for your Store

Creating markup for your store is very important. We want to make sure that it describes what you do, and where you provide your services. In Schema.org if your store serves the world, it is an Organization. Here is a video on how to optimize your Organization in Schema App.

If your store serves a Local area, then it is a LocalBusiness, as shown in this video

Step 3: Schema Markup for Contact Page

Create schema markup for your contact page. If you followed all the steps in the previous video, your contact page may already be done. If not, then follow these steps.

Step 4: Schema Markup for Services Pages (Optional)

Do you offer services in addition to your products? If so, then for the pages where you describe your services, we want to add Services Schema Markup, as shown in this video
